Pro Consumer Safety is based in Los Angeles but also serves the entire United States and is actively involved in global injury prevention initiatives. Since our early beginnings in 2002, we have been a trusted source for injury and disease prevention data, expert insights, and media support. Our evidence-based research is grounded in collaboration with Public Health Behavior Solutions International, along with data from various surveillance systems, ensuring our behavior-based strategies are scientifically sound.

We also work closely with local, state, and national agencies and organizations—including fire departments, health departments, hospitals, schools, and community groups—to promote awareness and foster safer communities.

​Our team of researchers and providers—including injury epidemiologists, health educators, Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES), and Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST)—regularly participate in interviews, media advisories, and community outreach to support public health initiatives.

Our Focus Areas:  

• We provide a wide range of injury domains, including unintentional injuries (motor vehicle crashes, pedestrian, drowning, falls, suffocation, home safety) and intentional injuries (bullying, suicide, intimate partner violence, child abuse, elder maltreatment).  
• We also include prevention education, community awareness on injury and disease prevention, and direct prevention services to protect children, families, and communities.
