Child Passenger Safety for the Film Industry

Pro Consumer Safety has been providing the film industry with child passenger safety and occupant protection as a "child safety/protection advisor", for film companies as well as film production for governmental agencies, since 2001.

From ensuring that a child is properly fitted in a child restraint system - CRS (car seat or booster seat), while the vehicle is in motion, according to local laws, to ensuring the child looks like they are properly secured during final film production. We also provide consultancy for other areas of safety to ensure children are not at risk of injury. This technical advice has been used for the production of commercials, television shows, movies, public service announcements, media advisories, and short educational films. We also provide appropriate props. 

In addition to being a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), we are also a Master of Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) with experience in working with safety in film production.

Film Industry Experience - Child Passenger Safety

While Pro Consumer Safety is Certified in Child Passenger Safety, it also has the scientific background and leadership experience in injury prevention to improve overall occupant protection and child safety providing film makers with the latest of best practices in public health. Pro Consumer Safety also has experience in working with the production team to improve effectiveness. In most cases we can provide child safety restraint system props (car seats or booster seats) and fit appropriately to the child and vehicle.
