We recognize the importance of reflecting on the growing diversity of the countries and communities we serve and understanding their varied needs. Therefore, we commit to actively promoting and maintaining diversity and inclusion within our research, program and policy development, and prevention services. Our approach embraces the intrinsic value of diverse perspectives across all areas of public health, neuroscience, and psychology.
We aim to create an inclusive environment that acknowledges and respects various backgrounds, including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, physical and mental abilities, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, parental or marital status, religious or political beliefs, military or veteran status, and geographic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
To uphold our commitment, we will implement strategies for meaningful engagement with diverse communities, continuously evaluate our practices, and ensure accountability in our efforts. Together, we can advance public health, and injury and disease prevention, recognizing that diversity strengthens our collective impact.
