California Child Passenger Safety (CPS) law requires day care centers to provide parents with car seat safety materials that include California CPS law and Certified locations where they can learn how to install and use their car seat properly. Pro Car Seat Safety provides day care centers with mobile, on-site car seat installation/education services for its clients and provides in-service staff training on car seats, transporting children safely as passengers, and baby safety.
Services
1. Car Seat Installation/Education Service
We provide an on-site mobile service to teach parents how to install, test, and use their car seat properly. We provide services, such as classes at a day care center or direct services at the parents' home (clients of the day care center). 2. Baby Safety Classes for Parents
We provide on-site group baby safety classes focusing on car seat safety, safety with children in and around cars, and home safety. 3. Car Seat Training for Day Care Employees and Drivers
We provide on-site, in-service training for day care center staff on California child passenger safety law (including transporting children under California law), as well as other home and baby safety education. |

California Child Restraint Requirements for Day Care Centers
CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 1596.95
Any person desiring issuance of a license for a day care center or a special permit for specialized services in a day care center under this chapter shall file with the department pursuant to regulations, an application on forms furnished by the department, which shall include, but not be limited to, all of the following: (g) Evidence satisfactory to the department that the applicant has posted signs at the point of entry to the facility that provide the telephone number of the local health department and state all of the following:
(1) Protect your child--it is the law.
(2) All the information specified in Sections 27360 and 27360.5 of the Vehicle Code regarding child passenger restraint systems.
(3) Call your local health department for more information
