About Pro Car Seat Safety
Pro Car Seat Safety, a division of Pro Consumer Safety, is a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) certified mobile child passenger safety, car seat installation service, serving the greater Los Angeles County area for 10 years, since 2015. We provide individual, mobile installation and education services at your location usually within hours of your call. We also provide child passenger safety and child safety classes for new parents, provide information on Parent Central to the general public, and provide professional support services to local and state governments, schools, day care, businesses and related service organizations.

Our Credentials and Commitment to Safety
We are a certified National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) car seat inspection station. Certified child passenger safety technicians (CPSTs) serve as educators to ensure parents, caregivers, and drivers understand how to properly install and use their car seats to restrain their children safely. Our service area includes greater Los Angeles and adjacent counties.
Since 2018, we have expanded our reach through virtual telehealth, providing one-on-one sessions via the National Telehealth Car Seat Call Center to assist parents nationwide and those discharged from hospitals after birth. Our approach, which supports expecting parents and parents with older children, has been validated through recent research, published (click to read published study), and proven to be effective in ensuring proper car seat installation and use, keeping child passengers safe.

Our Services and Educational Approach
We specialize in assisting expectant parents and those with newborns with their car seats. To enhance our effectiveness, we utilize Behavioral Skills Training (BST), an evidence-based educational approach shown to improve learning and retention. This method was validated through a longitudinal study of over quasi-experimental longitudinal study of over 2,448 new parents individually, as part of the Occupant Protection section of the (2015-2020) California Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP). Current efforts to expand this approach are being studied in the 2025-2029 SHSP. Evidence-based research is supported by Public Health Behavior Solutions.

We serve throughout the United States, U.S. Territories and Canada, including mobile services to our local communities throughout Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, and western San Bernardino counties at your home, workplace, hotel, car rental company, and airport (LAX, Ontario, or Burbank).
Being discharged from the hospital? We also have a 24/7 service for hospital discharge. Just call and we will have a certified technician install your seat at the hospital. |

The founder and owner of Pro Car Seat Safety is a leader in child passenger safety research, programs, and services. He is also an injury and neuroepidmeiologist, who develops behavioral-based injury prevention programs to reduce injury risk and improve public health programs and promote health and wellness. As a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) and Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES)—an advanced credential from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing for experienced professionals—he combines evidence-based strategies with innovative programs designed to educate parents on injury prevention and health education. He has worked in the public health and medical profession since 2012, and a leader in child passenger safety. With car seats, he specializes with assisting expecting parents and those with newborns.
